Finding a way forward
There are times when navigating life's unpredictable waters can feel isolated, confused or weighed down by stress and uncertainty. I offer a supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood and accepted. I believe that within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, counselling can help you process painful feelings, develop greater self-awareness and move towards relief, healing and growth.
Collaborative & creative
My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and fulfilment, while keeping your individual needs and goals at the heart of the therapeutic process. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, acceptance and without judgement. I bring knowledge and experience to help guide our work, while you lead the way at a pace that feels right for you.
Grounded in trust
Finding the right therapist is an important first step. My aim is to build a compassionate and trusting relationship in which you feel able to be open, without fear of judgement. Therapy can offer a space for you to reconnect with what is truly important and to revisit the narratives you have held about your life. My practice is trauma-informed, placing your emotional safety and well-being at the centre of our work together, helping you navigate the healing process at your own pace.
Support through life's challenges
People come to counselling for many reasons. You may be looking for support with emotional or relationship difficulties, experiencing trauma or distress, or simply feeling stuck and seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your life. Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer steady and compassionate support as we explore a way forward together.
An integrative approach
I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic and psychodynamic therapy, adapting our work to your individual needs. I also offer walking therapy, which provides a more relaxed, natural setting and may appeal if traditional face-to-face therapy feels challenging. Together we can explore present day difficulties and past experiences, recognise patterns, develop coping strategies and create meaningful change.
